Our team has extensive experience in drone operations and will be able to guide you to the best solution for your needs, whether that's lightweight UAVs with thermal image sensors, or heavy-lift models capable of carrying loads of up to 100kg when deployed remotely. Contact us at info@dronewild.co.uk to discuss these options with one of our team.
-
What animals can the machine learning model identify?Currently, the machine learning model can identify all five species of UK-based deer (Red, Roe, Sika, Fallow, Muntjac, and Chinese Water Deer), as well as sheep and wild boar/feral pigs but the model is currently being trained on other species.
-
Do drones disturb wildlife? The drones we recommend for locating and monitoring wildlife are lightweight models with relatively low acoustic levels when in operation. In the hands of a competent and considerate operator, a drone will rarely disturb wildlife. Our training programs are designed to help you fly with confidence, efficiency, and the know-how to mitigate any impact on wildlife in the field.
-
Can drones be used at night or in low light?Yes, some of the systems we use include thermal imaging, which allows for detection in low-light or nighttime conditions. We can advise on appropriate models and configurations.
-
Is thermal imaging affected by weather?Yes, rain, mist, or bright sunlight can impact thermal performance. Our training covers how to interpret thermal imagery and mitigate environmental limitations.
-
Do you provide customer support?Yes, our team is on hand to help with any questions or issues you encounter. Please reach out to us at info@dronewild.co.uk, and we will respond to your request as soon as possible.
